Kids Basics (Age 3-5)

In early childhood (ages 3–5), the brain is in a highly sensitive period of development, during which core neural networks for attention, emotional regulation, learning, and behaviour are rapidly forming. Executive functions such as working memory, impulse control, cognitive flexibility, and sustained attention are particularly malleable at this stage and strongly shaped by experience.

Our neurocognitive training programme for young children combines playful movement with simple cognitive challenges, engaging both brain and body at the same time. This dual-task approach supports the integration of motor and cognitive brain networks, especially within prefrontal systems responsible for self-regulation and goal-directed behaviour.

For children aged 3–5, this means improved attention, better impulse control, and stronger coordination, alongside greater flexibility in adapting to new situations. By combining balance, movement, and cognitive tasks in a playful setting, children naturally develop essential skills for learning and everyday life.

Emotional safety and enjoyment are central to the approach. Positive engagement reduces stress responses and supports optimal brain conditions for learning, helping children feel confident, motivated, and ready to explore. Each programme is individually adapted to the child’s developmental needs, ensuring age-appropriate, playful, and motivating sessions without pressure. The aim is to build a strong foundation for long-term cognitive, emotional, and behavioural development during a key period of brain plasticity.

In addition to group-based sessions, we also offer tailored one-on-one training for children who benefit from a more individualised approach. These sessions provide extra support, a highly personalised pace, and activities designed around the child’s specific strengths and challenges in a calm and focused environment.
